The PeleČ™ Castle in Sinaia is a landmark not only for Sinaia but also for Romania.

It was built at the request of King Carol I of Romania and stands as one of the most significant historical edifices in Romania, possessing a unique character. Furthermore, it is among the most important monuments of its kind in Europe in the second half of the 19th century.

The castle has 160 rooms and multiple entrances and interior staircases. The central tower measures no less than 66 meters in height. The castle also features a theater hall with a small stage and 60 seats, including the royal box. The castle was equipped with very modern amenities for the era in which it was built.
