The Pelișor Castle in Sinaia is a small palace built on the grounds of Peleș Castle at the request of King Carol I, as a residence for the heirs, Prince Ferdinand and Princess Maria.
Pelișor comprises only 99 rooms and bears the imprint of a strong personality: that of Queen Maria. The hall of honor is paneled with oak wood.
